Testimonials about the Vision
"“When I decide to choose a sea kayak, the choice was not easy. A lot of company now design and fabric good kayaks of all shapes, sizes and designs. To help me decide, I rented a Seaward Vision at La Randonnée... WOW ! I was very impressed and pleased with the features of this kayak. Then my choice was more precise. I looked for a less volume kayak, less drag and a little faster: The Ascenté was the choice!”

"“WOW! You have the very best boats. Today I was able to paddle my new Vision for a couple of hours here in the San Francisco bay area. The boat handled very well and is very comfortable. The paint job is awesome! I knew it was going to look good, but it turned out Beautifully!!!
I can't say enough about the quality of workmanship and the attention to detail that you guys display.”

"I\'ll be leaving from the Guemes Ferry area in, Anacortes, today, bound for Ketchikan. I\'ve got my Seaward, Vision \"loaded to the gills\" for what should be an awesome journey. My 17 year old nephew, Stuart McAleny, will come along with his rotomolded Perception, Eclipse. I\'ll be making frequent stops along the way and will ship you some good photos if I get any. Already the Vision has proven herself, in that, I weigh in at 258.5 lbs, and the boat has, thus far, proved more than adequately strong to withstand the forces necessarily applied. I marvel at the sturdiness--narry a pop or crack--as I lower my full weight, supported by one hand on the rear combing into the cockpit. Thanks for building a quality product in which I can feel, luxuriously, confident. Scott Sellards Cathlamet, Wa.

"“As a Registered Maine Master Guide, I have paddled several different kayaks and absolutely love the Vision. It tracks extremely well resisting the tendency to weather cock in a good wind yet it is maneuverable, just a treat to paddle. Although I don’t use the rudder very often, the smart Rudder system you have come up with is fantastic and the foot pegs are big enough that foot comfort is at an optimum. As indicated in your literature, both the initial and secondary stability are superb. Congratulations on a great boat.”

"I have enclosed a brief write up for you from my last Alaska Paddle.
"In 2011 I completed my second trip from Salt Spring Island to Alaska. I took a different Seaward Kayak this year and was totally impressed with my new boat. My client had a Seaward Tyee which performed extremely well and I took a Vision. I want to thank Seaward for getting this boat organized so quickly. I decided with less then 3 weeks before our departure date to change my old Seaward Quest with a new Vision and they had it specially outfitted and ready to go in less than a week! At one point in this trip I was forced to perform a rescue on my client in extremely rough seas and I don't know any other boat that could have performed so well in 20' breaking seas. I did not have to do any maintenance to either of these Seaward kayaks during the whole expedition. The full length keel strip really protected the boat during many rough landings. Thanks for the great service Seaward and the quality of your boats is very impressive!"" ~ Jack Rosen _ Island Escapades - Saltspring Island
