Part time, approx. 20 Hour week – worked between Monday to Friday 7am-3:30pm
Starting Salary: $18/hr for no to little experience, increases with skill sets and experience.
Start date: Asap
Primary responsibilities:
Our kayak production staff are involved in aspects of kayak & other fiberglass product manufacture, assembly, repair & delivery. Additional day to day activities will include loading & unloading, general housekeeping, plant & equipment maintenance, etc.
Manufacturing includes but is not limited to sanding, grinding & polishing of components or assemblies; final assembly, packaging, wrapping & loading of parts or the completed final product.
Skills & Qualifications.
o Good communication skills
o Enjoys & able to work well with others
o Woodworking, carpentry or general finishing &/or assembly skills.
o Proven attention to detail with great hand/eye coordination
o Able to lift and articulate 50lbs or more.
o Enjoy contributing to and being part of a successful team
o Organize and maintain workspace
o Organize and Maintain shop tools and equipment
o Communicate with service and parts team members to ensure priorities and schedules are maintained & supplies and parts requirements are satisfied.
o Able to stand for duration of work shift.
